From the moment you walk through the doors of the Majestic, I believe you will feel at home. You are greeted with a beautiful staircase that will take you to the ACDG theatre (there's an ELEVATOR too!!!!:). You will immediately see the box office window, and entrance when you reach the top of the stairs. Deana, one of the stars of the show, has personally decorated the lobby with breathtaking style, that is welcoming, yet classy and elegant. When you enter the ACDG theatre, you will find comfortable ampi theater seating. There are pictures and bios of the members of Faith's Journey, as well as some things displayed that have meant a lot to them throughout their lives and careers. There will be preshow video to keep you entertained while waiting for the show to begin. Oh, and while you are waiting, why not visit the concession stand for popcorn, cookies, muffins, candy, coffee, soda, and even cappuccinos... When the show begins, in the first half, you will enjoy classic country music, such as "Try A Little Kindness", "Reach Out and Touch A Hand", "Coat of Many Colors" and many more. Scott, the pianist for the group, will be playing a medley of songs that Floyd Cramer played. Will you be able to guess what those songs are? The first half will end with Jonathan and the cast performing a moving tribute to our veterans, police officers, firefighters, and those that serve our country and it's citizens. There will be an intermission so can visit with the group, and so you can get another soda, cappuccino, or popcorn; or purchase some of the music to take home with you. The second half is full of Southern Gospel music!!!! "I Need You", "He Touched Me", "One Day At A Time", and "How Great Thou Art" are just a few of the classics you will hear. The group will also be doing a selection of hymns, including an acapella rendition of "In The Garden".
Call the box office at 417-218-0808 to reserve your ticket.
We hope to see you there.
